WHAT IS SCREAM?

SCREAM the progression from SCORE, its a WEB-GL based multi-player game which is playable in a browser. It will entail economic, political, and strategic elements and is the first time players can use their ships to fight for the future of their faction with fun, active, repeatable, on-chain game play with earning potential.
Now rebranded to SAGE.

HOW TO PLAY

Actual Game Play is still not clear neither are game mechanics
Some of the following information is speculative and may be subject to change.
Here is how its looking….

Your objective in SCREAM is to build and protect your factions Star Bases, your faction having a Star Base in a system means your faction controls that system so exploring and colonizing new systems as well as attacking other factions star bases is what the game is all about.
Star Bases are rated on a tier system 1-6 denoting their strength, what they can craft and defining how far through-out the system their control extends.

Each faction will have a Central Space Station, this is where your ships get re-spawned after a miss-adventure.

Depending what activities you undertake you will gain Experience Points, this is a constantly increasing measure of the skill of your pilots & crew. XP’s will define another attribute you will clock-up, Loyalty Points, LP’s can be used to purchase collectibles and other items but their main use is to purchase additional hangers, they are NOT tradable and once you spend them they are burned.

MY STRATEGY

My general strategy has changed since the first release of the mini-game.
Current approach is essentially just a Mining Operation with fuel crafting being carried out as needed.
I will craft components if I see attractive marketplace pricing opportunities.

FLEET #1 ASTEROID MINING

1x Armstrong IMP TAP Asteroid Mining Ship (Medium)
The TAP is a specialized mining ship, this bad boy just consumes a little food and will extract whatever resource you point it at.

1x Fimbul BYOS Packlite (Medium)
1x Mamba (Medium)
The Fimbul BYOS Packlite is a rugged cargo vessel with a huge cargo bay, 2 medium slots.
I will use a Mamba to provide firepower escort.

CRAFTING CREW

10x Airbikes
I have a some small airbikes which are disbanded and the crew are utilized for crafting activities.

I have a claim stake still in SCORE for now.
It generates approx 10k R4 a day, thats:

10,000 Food
10,000 Tools
10,000 Ammo
10,000 Fuel

THE PROCESS

I PICK A RESOURCE TO MINE
A map of all resources and their locations can be found on the Resources page.

FLY MINER SHIP TO THAT SYSTEM
Fuel up and use Sub-Warp as an economical means of travelling long distances in one hop.
No need to rush these things

COMMENCE MINING
When you commence mining it will tell you how much food the miner crew will consume to fill the cargo of mined resources. 
Once cargo is full, stop mining and dock, unload cargo to the Starbase of that system
Refuel & start mining again

FREIGHT TO CSS
At the same time I am filling my freighter with the mined resource, also fuel up freighter with just the amount of fuel it needs to make it back and use Sub-Warp to travel to CSS.
Once at CSS, unload, refuel and reload cargo bay with food and fuel for mining operations and return freight.
Return to the mining site

Sell resources on Marketplace when prices are optimal.
I also craft components from resources and sell these when prices are optimal.

RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS
The claim stake I have is not enough to support my freighting operation entirely so I am looking to upgrade this when possible.
For now the shortfall in fuel is met by switching my mining operation to HYDROGEN when needed.
Hydrogen can easily be crafted into FUEL at a number of star systems.

OTHER INTERESTING POINTS

SCORE will slowly be phased out after SAGE launches

Score Fleet-Badges from SCORE will give you LP’s when SAGE launches

SAGE Will contain R4 & R20 resources to be mined

Ships have component module slots which will be able to be custom configured
Each step in slot size is 2.72x the previous, for example
Medium = 2.72 x Small
Large = 2.72 x Medium and so on…

Your ship cant be destroyed in LRZ

If your ship is destroyed in MRZ it is re-spawned back at your hanger minus all cargo & R4
Cargo becomes ‘loot’ and is able to be collected by any ship in region

If your ship is destroyed in HRZ its is gone for good…
