WiFi Connection Process
- Unit powers up and generates its own hotspot
- Connect to Hotspot and browse to 192.168.1.4
- Enter your own WiFi connection details
- Generate your own API on coingecko, enter and click SAVE
- Unit will reboot and connect to your WiFi network
If unit losses power or times out, simply re-power and it will remember details entered.
* API can be generated for free from Coingecko’s Developer Dashboard
Free API’s can be restricted from time to time, coingecko also offer paid subscriptions for api services.
If you require a faster refresh rate and have a paid api subscription please contact me I can supply a special version with fast refresh rates. Note: A refresh rate faster than 5 minutes will exceed the monthly max calls under the free api plan.
